Male strech marks can occur when the skin gets stretched
beyond its normal elasticity. The most common form of male stretch marks occurs
in young males who experience natural growth spurts.
Male stretch marks can also occur as a side effect of hormonal or steroid
related medication or creams. This can be common in body builders or athletes
who take steroid based substances or medical creams or medication that may
trigger abnormal growth in stages of injury recovery. Male stretch marks have
also been known to occur as a side effect of medications that target depression.
